A major theme of Part Three to Magick Caste Archive is the history of Magick Caste and the factions that are aligned with the magical organization. I’ve spent months organizing, cataloging, and describing the differences and powers of each faction group. The narrative is broken up by reports and journal entries. In Part Three I’m only including a certain magical beings that make sense for the story. However, there is so much history that I’ve worked on, that I’m not including. It wouldn’t make sense for the adventures of Tristan Graydin.

Well, before I left Seattle I had this book idea pop into my head. I was packing up my life to move to Denver. It was late at night. I was sitting on my teal chaise lounge. The idea came to my mind to present the full history of Magick Caste, but as a stand alone novel. In the Magick Caste Archive series, history is referred to, but its not the central theme. To continue writing Part Three, I needed to flush out all of the history. I think that's how this new story popped into my mind.

The magical organization was initially developed in the 1920s, but became a full fledged society for all magical beings after WWII. A witch, a warlock, and a wizard are selected by their leaders to bring together all being and creatures. Aligning in the common goal of protecting the planet and magic from the non-magical beings destructive behavior. For centuries, different factions of magic have been dueling or been at odds. There are past discretions and grudges that must be resolved before agreements can be met. There will be drama, historical references, a love story, subterfuge, and betrayal.

As of today, I’ve written the first five chapters and I’m curious if I should be spending my time flushing out this story or put it on the backburner for a while. I’m spending most of my time trying to ensure that I can continue to pay my bills, my writing is still a side project that isn’t paying its own way. I’m grateful for every book of Magick Caste Archive that has been purchased, but it hasn’t been enough to make it a career. I’m attempting to utilize every waking hour that I have to be creative. Will it be enough? Only time will tell, right?
